The Edmonton Riverview Provincial Progressive Conservative Association is seeking nominations for individuals interested in becoming the candidate to represent the constituency and the Progressive Conservative Association of Alberta in the next provincial election. The nomination period to obtain information, complete the nomination papers, and pay the nomination fee will commence at 9:00 AM on January 4, 2012 and will close at 5:00 PM on January 13, 2012. The nomination meeting (if necessary) will be held at 5:30 PM on January 27, 2012 at Crestwood Community League Hall, 14325 96 Avenue, Edmonton. Eligible voters require a valid 2012 PCAA membership card, must ordinarily reside within the boundaries of the constituency, be a Canadian citizen in good standing, be at least 16 years of age and have two (2) pieces of identification, at least one of which must be a photo identification. The boundaries of Edmonton Riverview are (commencing with the south boundary) north and east of Whitemud Drive / Whitemud Creek, east of 170 St., south of 87 Ave., east of 163 St., south of 95 Ave., east of 156 St., south of Stony Plain Road, south and west of McKinnon Ravine and the North Saskatchewan River, south of Saskatchewan Drive, west of 110 St., north of 87 Ave., west of 112 St. south of University Ave., west of 109 St., north of 61 Ave., west of 111 St., to Whitemud Drive.
