I am delighted to be running as your Progressive Conservative (PC) candidate in the next provincial election and am thrilled about the possibility of serving as your Member of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta representing Edmonton Riverview.

I have been deeply involved in public policy, politics and community engagement in Edmonton Riverview for many years.  I have learned that you – the constituents of Riverview – have much to offer to the political process.  The people of Edmonton Riverview are centrally positioned to become strong advocates for change with an influential voice in government.

I am particularly pleased to be running under the banner of our new premier, Ed Stelmach.  I believe that Premier Stelmach brings a thoughtful approach to governance, which has been demonstrated by the government’s record of accomplishments in the last year under the premier’s leadership.  (Read: "Premier Stelmach's Plan for Change that works for Albertans.") The past year has seen government tackle major issues affecting Edmontonians.  The next year promises to be a refreshing one, with the introduction of new initiatives that will benefit all Albertans.

I am hoping that my campaign will have the added benefit of attracting many new individuals who are eager to become involved in the political process. Your ideas, creativity and energy are needed as we move forward with our plans to provide a stronger voice for residents of our constituency in the Government of Alberta.
